PD Dr. Djerdj Horvat

Djerdj Horvat studied Business Administration with a focus on International Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology Management at the University of Novi Sad and the University of Potsdam. He earned his PhD at the Freie Universität Berlin, Chair of Innovation Management, with a dissertation on »Absorptive Capacity in Foreign Subsidiaries of Multinational Enterprises«. He completed his habilitation in Innovation and Technology Management at the University of Hohenheim, with a focus on AI capabilities in manufacturing companies.

Since 2014, Djerdj Horvat has been working as a senior researcher and project leader in the Department of Innovation and Knowledge Economy, within the Business Unit of Industrial Change and New Business Models. In addition, he teaches as adjunct professor courses in Innovation Management and related subjects at the University of Hohenheim.
