Dr. habil. Henning Kroll

Studied geography, majoring in economic geography at the University of Hanover (Universität Hannover). From 2003 to 2006 he was employed as a Research Associate at the Institute of Economic and Cultural Geography at the University of Hanover. In 2005 he was awarded his doctorate on the subject of university spin-off activities in China. In August 2006 he joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe as a researcher in the Competence Center Innovation and Knowledge Economy. Since July 2019 he is Coordinator of Business Unit Innovation Trends and Science Studies. Henning Kroll teaches as adjunct professor at the Institute of Economic and Cultural Geography of the Leibniz Universität Hannover and was Visiting Professor at the School of Public Policy and Management at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).
