Range of methods

We combine social science and business management concepts and theories with ethnographic methods and creativity techniques. Reflective observation plays a decisive role here.

To derive innovative questions, we go to different places, seek out spatial, temporal and discursive references and network with the involved and affected actors. Our systemic orientation also considers that organizations are embedded in complex systems and constantly changing societal discourses.

Overall, we take an approach that is both solution-oriented but open to as yet unformulated challenges. For example, we conduct in-depth interviews with stakeholders as part of an ethnographic situational analysis – and also include actors who have been overlooked so far. In addition, we use qualitative and quantitative analysis methods and work on their development.
