The project

Background & objective

An increasing number of companies are deciding themselves, or are legally obligated to think comprehensively about the topic of sustainability in their business and to implement it in their different business areas. A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH has set itself the goal of addressing the issue of sustainability as part of a strategic repositioning of its product for 2022/2023. The aim is to determine a “sustainability footprint” for A-ROSA to be able to make science-based statements about the sustainability of A-ROSA’s river cruises: Other objectives of the project are:

  • To identify relevant stakeholders
  • Develop a sustainability indicator and calculate a sustainability footprint
  • Draw up a roadmap to improve the competitiveness of the company
