Carolina Wienand-Sangare

Carolina Wienand has been working as a project manager in the Business Unit Social Change and Innovation at Fraunhofer ISI since 2021. Previously, she worked at Fraunhofer headquarters in the Department for International Affairs as a project and team leader. Currently, she is mainly involved in the INSPIRE project with a strong focus on diversity in the private sector.

 

She completed her master's degree in Latin American Studies with a focus on social sciences and gender studies at the University of Cologne with her master's thesis on masculinities and gender-based violence in Central America. Since 2023, she has been doing her doctorate at the University of Göttingen on the question of whether greater diversity in companies leads to greater innovative strength.
