Advice & support to the elaboration of an impact-oriented monitoring system at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) funds research stays (fellowships & awards) in Germany for top international researchers. These AvH-fellows are integrated into the AvH network.

In order to keep a long-term and continuous eye on the development of its funding activities, an impact-oriented monitoring is to be set up both for the programme level and the cross-programmes. specifically.

Fraunhofer ISI accompanies and advises the AvH Foundation in the elaboration of its impact-oriented monitoring.

Fraunhofer ISI accompanies and advises the AvH Foundation in the development of its WoM at programme and AvH-level. For this purpose, an overall impact model is being developed and the existing programme-specific models are being revised. A central component of the monitoring is the development of a set of suitable and manageable indicators. The monitoring system is developed in a participatory manner, i.e. the relevant departments of the Foundation are consulted and actively involved in its development. Suitable reporting formats will be developed for longer-term use.
