Projects of the Business Unit Policy for Innovation and Transformation
Research and innovation are called upon to contribute to overcoming societal challenges such as clean, efficient, competitive, just and sovereign economies. The business unit ‘Policy for Innovation and Transformation’ deals with specific governance mechanisms, policy instruments and policy mixes as well as institutional innovations of a research, technology and innovation policy committed to sustainability, resilience and justice and their interaction with other policy fields. A particular focus here is on the generation of design knowledge and the development of effective policies that contribute to the success of complex change processes on the basis of a broad understanding of innovation.
