Spomenka Maloca, Dipl.-Sozialwissenschaftlerin

Spomenka Maloca is a social scientist and works as a Senior Researcher in the Business Unit Foresight for Businesses and Industry Associations division at Fraunhofer ISI. Her areas of expertise lie in the methods of empirical social research and empirical economic policy. She supports businesses and public sector clients in the design, implementation and evaluation of empirical studies, thereby laying a solid foundation for strategic decision-making.

Her work centres on company and expert surveys, survey methodology, research design and questionnaire design. She has many years’ experience with longitudinal and cross-sectional studies, the Delphi method, and the conduct of qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys. Furthermore, her expertise encompasses the analysis of funding databases, the evaluation of innovation and technology policy, and technical and economic sector analyses.

Spomenka Maloca studied at the University of Mannheim. She then worked in market research, specialising in business-to-business surveys. From 2001 to May 2015, she worked as a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in the Competence Centre for Industrial and Service Innovations; she has been working in the Foresight Department since June 2015.
