Dr. Josephine Tröger

Josephine Tröger studied psychology (graduate degree) with a minor in Literature, Arts and Media at the Universities of Konstanz, Monterrey (Mexico) and Catania (Italy). From 2012 to 2016, she worked as a research assistant in the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Environmental Issues at the University of Koblenz-Landau. From 2018 to 2021, she was a research assistant and lecturer in the Environmental Psychology Research Group at the University of Koblenz-Landau. There, she completed her PhD on sufficiency orientation as a key to socio-ecological transformation and worked on several other research projects. In addition to expertise in Environmental Psychology, she gained professional experience in the fields of science communication and event management. Since April 2021, she has been working in the business unit Actors and Acceptance in the Transformation of the Energy System in the Competence Center Energy Policy and Energy Markets at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI.
