Studies of Economics at the Karl-Franzens University Graz (Austria) and the Paris X Nanterre University (France) with the main focus on economic policy, environmental economics, and econometrics. Her master’s thesis examined the relationship of climate change, water resources, and security in the Middle East. From January 2011 to April 2012, research associate at the Institute for Resource Efficiency and Energy Strategies in Karlsruhe, since May 2012 scholar at the Helmholtz International Research School “Energy Scenarios – Construction, Assessment, Impact” and Ph.D. student in the Competence Center Energy Technology and Energy Systems at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI.
