Sebastian Ziegaus studied media, political science and education at the Universities of Jena and Turin and subsequently obtained his PhD in communication studies at the University of Erfurt. He then worked for several years as a scientific officer in the management team at Fraunhofer ISI before moving to the Comprehensive Heart Failure Center in Würzburg as managing director in 2016. From 2020 to 2025, he headed the administration at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig.
Sebastian Ziegaus has been Director of Administration at Fraunhofer ISI since October 2025.
