Iliyana Madina

Researcher

Iliyana Madina has been working as a researcher in the Crowd Innovation Unit since October 2018, initially for the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW in Leipzig. Since January 1, 2025, the unit has been part of Fraunhofer ISI in Leipzig. She is currently primarily concerned with topics in the areas of impact assessment and measurement of transfer instruments such as crowdsourcing, crowdfunding as a crisis instrument and knowledge and technology transfer. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at Fraunhofer IMW and supported various groups in projects with a focus on environmental and future technologies, among others. During her studies of Business Administration in Leipzig (M.Sc.) and Sofia (B.Sc.), Iliyana Madina gained extensive international experience by participating in various language and academic exchange programs in Greece, Great Britain and the USA.
