A total of three data collection methods and an international comparison are planned: 1) document analysis, 2) interviews, 3) focus groups.
The aim of the document analysis is to gain a comprehensive overview of the AMA's activities and structures. To this end, both internal and external records and documents will be examined.
The interviews aim to gain an in-depth, qualitative understanding of the multi-level system, formal and informal processes, and the way the AMA operates and functions. Specifically, the interviews will shed light on stakeholders' perspectives regarding the AMA's positioning within the overall system, the processes and mechanisms within this system, and potential for further development. To cover a wide range of perspectives, we plan to conduct 28 interviews with various stakeholder groups.
The focus group serves to discuss the perspectives of the different stakeholder groups and to draw up a shared picture of the AMA.
