Linda Widdel holds a Master's degree in Democracy and Global Transformations from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. In 2017, she spent a semester at the University of California, Berkeley. She wrote her master's thesis on 'sustainability transitions' in the Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zurich. In September 2020, she joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe where she works as a researcher in the Competence Center Policy and Society. Her work focuses on an internal research project on sustainable system transformations (SYSTRA).
