Lydia Ringeissen

Lydia Ringeissen studied politics and sociology at the Institut d'études politiques in Bordeaux and at the University of Stuttgart. She completed her master's degree in European studies and empirical political and social research.

After completing her studies, she worked as a project manager for the trinational health project TRISAN, which is supported by the Euro-Institut in Kehl. She also conducted training courses on various cross-border topics, in particular intercultural project management.

From 2022 to 2026, she was head of department at the Bas-Rhin fire and rescue service in France. She was initially responsible for cross-border cooperation and then for research and development.

Since March 2026, she has been a tandem professor at Kehl University of Applied Sciences. The tandem professorship is in the field of economics with a focus on innovation and systemic resilience. In this context, she also works as a research assistant at Fraunhofer ISI in the Department of Policy and Society.
