Thomas Reiß - Fraunhofer ISI

He holds a doctoral degree in Molecular Biology from Freiburg University (Prof. Mohr). 1983-1986: Research Associate, Institute of Biology II, Plant Physiology, Plant Molecular Biology, University of Freiburg; 1986-1987: Post-doctoral fellow at the DOE Plant Research Laboratory, Michigan State University (USA). He joined Fraunhofer ISI in 1987. 1996-2004 head of the department Innovations in Biotechnology, from 2005 to 2020 head of the Competence Center Emerging Technologies. From August 2006 to March 2007 Dr. Reiss was deputy head of Fraunhofer ISI.
