Exploratory and networking initiatives to establish cooperation with universities in Georgia in the field of innovation research

Fraunhofer ISI is establishing sustainable partnerships in science and innovation research with Caucasus International University (CIU) and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). The focus is on analyzing and further developing the Georgian innovation system, as well as providing policy-oriented advice on the transition to a knowledge- and innovation-driven economy. The main objective of the project is to establish cooperative structures with the Georgian partners. The collaboration aims to ensure regular exchange in the field of science and innovation research and to facilitate scientific monitoring of the development of the Georgian innovation system. In addition to a mini-workshop and a scientific symposium, long-term cooperation structures are to be established through visiting stays for young researchers.
