Dr. Frank Sensfuß

Deputy Head of the Competence Center Energy Policy and Energy Markets, Coordinator of Business Unit Electricity Markets and Infrastructures

Dr. Frank Sensfuß is a scientist in the Competence Center Energy Policy and Energy Markets at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI, where he is Coordinator of the Business Unit Electricity Markets and Infrastructures. He studied Energy and Environmental Management at the University of Flensburg and Export Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark. He received his doctoral degree in economics (Dr. rer. pol.) at the University of Karlsruhe in 2007. His current areas of work include research related to renewable energy sources and the development of energy-related models, especially agent-based simulation platforms. Since 2019 he is Deputy Head of the Competence Center Energy Policy and Energy Markets.
