After three years of research into incentives for knowledge transfer, what's next?

In the TRANSENTIVE research project, researchers from Innovation Policy and Transfer Design Unit from Fraunhofer ISI in Leipzig have spent the last three years investigating the transfer and exploitation motivation of Fraunhofer IIS and Fraunhofer IISB and developing and testing new incentive formats for research transfer. On September 17, 2025, the project team will present the results in Erlangen, which include formats such as licence-to-win crowdfunding, transfer awards, tiny compliments, and transfer in the onboarding process. The in-person event willprovide insights into mechanisms of action, possible applications, and initial practical experiences.
