Researcher
Jonas Pfennig has been working as a researcher in the Crowd Innovation Unit since October 2024, initially for the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW in Leipzig. Since January 1, 2025, the unit has been part of Fraunhofer ISI in Leipzig. He previously worked in the same unit as a research assistant. After studying Cultural and Media Education (B.A.), he focused on science communication and knowledge transfer in Information Design (M.A.). As a research assistant at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, he delved deeper into these topics and worked on related research projects. Within the Crowd Innovation Unit, Jonas Pfennig focuses on the design and further development of crowdsourcing platforms. A key area of focus is the design of participatory innovation processes, as well as the use of AI in crowdsourcing contexts.
