Science communication and design specialist
Anna Rupp has been working at Fraunhofer IMW in Leipzig since 2021. Starting out as a student assistant for marketing and communication, she has been a permanent employee since March 2024 in the Innovative Regions Unit, which has been part of Fraunhofer ISI in Leipzig since January 1, 2025. She specializes in science communication, user-oriented knowledge transfer, and knowledge acceptance.
In her work at Fraunhofer, she is committed to application-oriented project implementation in order to strengthen the dialogue between science and society and promote sustainable knowledge and technology transfer.
With her background in research design, she understands knowledge as a design process and design as a means of generating knowledge. It is important to her to see and utilize the potential of design as an integrative and interdisciplinary practice.
