Project

ClimaPannonia

ClimaPannonia is an EU-funded project aimed at strengthening the climate resilience of agriculture and communities in the Pannonian Biogeographical Region (PBA). The goal is to promote climate-neutral solutions in four key agricultural sectors:

  • Water-Food Nexus
  • Agroforestry
  • Organic Crop Production
  • Cattle Farming

In collaboration with the PBA countries—Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia—innovative, systemic solutions are being implemented to help transform agriculture in the region.

Clima Pannonia focuses on strengthening climate resilience in agriculture throughout the Pannonian Basin by linking innovative systemic solutions with practical on-site demonstration measures. By combining practical experience, knowledge sharing, and regional cooperation, ClimaPannonia works to translate best practices into actionable plans, innovative business and financing models, targeted training, and digital tools such as the ClimaPannonia app
