Dr. Peter Hachenberger completed his doctorate in 2006 at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, specializing in computational geometry. He then continued his research activities in Eindhoven and Aarhus, among other things on the processing of large LIDAR data sets. From 2009 to 2022, Peter Hachenberger worked as a software developer, software architect and freelance software consultant, primarily in the development of automated business processes. From 2022 to 2024, he studied sustainability in Vienna and graduated with a Master of Science.
Since 2025, he has been working as a research associate at Fraunhofer ISI in the Department of Sustainabilty and Infrastructure Systems.
