The contribution of social partnerships to the success of non-technical innovations (CSSA 2)

The CSSA 2 project explores the influence of social partnerships in chemical industry companies on the economic success and acceptance of company restructuring and reorganization.

The objective of the project is to examine social partnerships in enterprises of the chemical industry and related industries as a factor of success for implementing organizational innovations in consideration of the initial situation of the enterprises.

An online survey is conducted with different actors in enterprises from the chemical industry. Based on existing reflections on cooperative social partnership of the Chemie-Stiftung Sozialpartner-Akademie (CSSA), the Fraunhofer Institute for System- and Innovationresearch ISI is developing a tool to measure cooperation based on social partnership. This involves questions about organizational changes, the company's structural data and the respondent's role within the company in order to be able to compare the social partnership with the company's situation. With the final questionnaire it should be able to examine cooperated social partnership as an enabling factor for organizational innovations in consideration of the initial situation of the enterprises.
