Researcher
Aaron Müller has been working as a research assistant in the climate-neutral buildings division of the energy technologies and energy systems department since June 2026.
He studied mechatronics and information technology (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. During his studies, he specialised in the fields of energy engineering and energy economics. Whilst studying, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Vehicle Systems Engineering at KIT and at Fraunhofer ISI. As part of his Master’s thesis at Fraunhofer ISI, he investigated the cost-effectiveness of tracking and bifacial PV systems in various countries (thesis title: ‘Techno-economic analysis of bifacial and tracking PV based on six countries’).
