Meta Thurid Lotz has been a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe in the Competence Center Energy Technologies and Energy Systems since October 2020. Her work focuses on the contribution of the Circular Economy to industrial decarbonisation. She is involved in the dynamic modelling of material flows and circular economy measures as well as the impact assessment of related policy instruments.
Meta Thurid Lotz studied industrial engineering with a specialisation in "Energy and Environmental Management" at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences (B. Eng.) and the European University of Flensburg (M. Eng.). In both her Bachelor's and Master's thesis, she dealt with concepts for industrial transformation.
