Project

Within the framework of national and international processes for the implementation of climate protection and energy system strategies the BMWI identifies a current need for projections and impact assessments for the further development of the energy system until 2030 and 2050 respectively.

This project aims to support various national and EU-wide reporting requirements, in particular those under the EU Governance Regulation, with model-based projections and assessments of socio-economic and environmental impacts.

• Modelling of energy scenarios
• Ex-ante impact assessments of energy and climate policy instruments
• Model-based macroeconomic and environmental impact assessments

The final report contains comprehensive documentation of all results.
