Merle Zoë Larro

Merle Zoë Larro studied psychology (B.Sc.) with a focus on human-environment relations in Bremen and Lisbon. She then continued her studies in Vienna, focusing on political communication and governance analyses amongst other topics (M.A.) and in Maastricht studying sustainability issues at the interface of science and policy (M.Sc.). As a trainee of the European Commission, she continued to work on sustainability transitions at the European Environment Agency in Copenhagen.

Since February 2025, she has been working as a research assistant and doctoral candidate in the Actors and Acceptance in the Transformation of the Energy System business unit of the Energy Policy and Energy Markets department.
