Sophie Bentele has been working as a research associate in the Energy Policy Business Unit of the Energy Policy and Energy Markets department at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI since January 2026.
Before joining Fraunhofer ISI, she worked as a project manager in the field of bioeconomy and sustainability at TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe GmbH.
Sophie Bentele studied International Management (B.Sc.) at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, during which time she worked at Fraunhofer ISI as an intern and research assistant. She subsequently completed a master’s degree in Innovation, Business and Sustainability (M.Sc.) at the University of Hamburg.
