System transformations are among the central challenges of research and innovation policy in the coming years. The symposium in Brussels on May 12th 2022, organised as part of Fraunhofer ISI's anniversary activities, brought together friends and partners of Fraunhofer ISI to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with system change as well as new approaches to solutions for society and governance with a view to a sustainable, transformation-oriented policy.
