Dr.-Ing. Daniel Duwe

Joint Innovation Hub

Dr.-Ing. Daniel Duwe is head of the Joint Innovation Hub Heilbronn team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI.

For a total of seven years, he has been conducting research at Fraunhofer on innovative technologies in the fields of digitalization and sustainability. During this time, he completed his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart on the topic of early identification and evaluation of product innovations using the example of air cabs. He holds a lectureship at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology on the development of data-based, sustainable business models and has several years of industrial experience in innovation management at DB Netze and EnBW as well as in project management at Mercedes-Benz. Previously, he studied industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the University of Sydney. 

Research interests: Technology and innovation management (strategic foresight, maturity assessment, impact assessment, business modeling)
