A team from Fraunhofer ISI took part in the Munich Management Colloquium on December 2, 2025, held in Heilbronn. The conference brought together industry and academia to discuss and exchange ideas about the future of industrial artificial intelligence, and was supported by Fraunhofer ISI as a scientific partner.

Dr. Malte Busch’s presentation introduced the link between strategic foresight and the metaverse. In a panel discussion, he spoke with the other participants about how artificial intelligence is gradually transforming aerospace from connected, partially autonomous systems, the application of digital twins, to flexible, software-supported space architectures. In addition, he gave some insights into how AI can be used in innovation processes and the strategic transformation of companies.

Pejo Petrovic and Deepak Kumar presented the AWAIT tool and the JIH’s AI trend radar in the masterclass “How Can AI Enhance Strategic Decision-Making and Foresight?” They demonstrated how companies can use artificial intelligence to develop strategies, analyze trends, and make informed decisions about the future.
