Katharina Eckartz studied Economics with a major in Behavioural Economics at Maastricht University. Afterwards she worked as a research assistant at the ETH in Zurich.
From 2009 to 2013, she completed her PhD in Economics at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena in cooperation with the International Max Planck Research School on Uncertainty, with a thesis on "Information and Incentives in Principal-Agent Experiments".
Between 2012 and 2014, Katharina Eckartz was a scientific coordinator at the graduate school "GSBC" of the University of Jena. In September 2014, she joined the Fraunhofer ISI as a researcher.
