Dr. Johannes Jasny studied Economics from 2007 to 2013 at the University of Hohenheim, with focus on Industrial Economics, Innovation Economics and Statistics. Thereafter, he worked as a research assistant and lecturer for Economics between 2014 and 2021. In 2018, he completed his doctorate on “Spatial Data Analysis in Economics” with honors at the Department for Market Sciences at the University of Hohenheim. His research interests include the analysis of regional markets, regional development and spatial econometrics.
Since September 2021, he has been working as a project manager in the Competence Center Innovation and Knowledge Economy at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe.
