Studied Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Edinburgh with a scholarship of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation focussing on the generation and integration of renewable energy in power networks. He completed his Master in 2017 with a dissertation titled „Optimal Scheduling of Electric Vehicles in Distribution Networks“.
Previously, he studied industrial engineering centred on energy informatics and energy technologies at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2016. As part of his role as research assistant at the Research Centre for Information Technology (FZI) in Karlsruhe in the research division Intelligent Systems and Production Engineering, he wrote his Bachelor thesis “Scheduling of Heat Pumps Using Genetic Algorithms”.
In October 2017, he commenced his position as scientific researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research in the Competence Center Energy Technology and Energy Systems.
