Different perspectives on global metal flows in the circular economy

The Global session “Different perspectives on global metal flows in the circular economy“ as a part of the World Resources Forum 2019 deals with the global trade of metals and the important role in increasing resource efficiency. The speakers will amongst others discuss about the fact that resulting global material flows not always ensure that products and materials remain in the economy as long as possible, running the risk of ending up with low-resource efficiency and sham recycling. The Global session will also focus on the optimization of these flows, in order to stimulate closed loops in a qualitative way and towards enabling a circular economy.
