Jenny Winkler studied international economics and political science at the Eberhard Karl University in Tübingen, studied in Argentina, served several internships in the field of development cooperation and was a research assistant at the Institute for Applied Economic Research in Tübingen. She collaborated for two years in the GIZ program for private sector development in Cambodia, then worked in the Cluster Energy Technology of the firm Bayern Innovativ GmbH. Took a Masters' degree in "Environmental Technology" with main focus on "Energy Policy" at Imperial College London, Masters' thesis on the topic "Electricity Market Design for 100% Renewable Energies". Since November 2011 Jenny Winkler is a research assistant in the Competence Center Energy Policy and Energy Markets.
