Sibylle Braungardt joined the Fraunhofer-Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in February 2013. She works as a senior researcher and project manager at the Competence Center Energy Policy and Energy Markets. Her research interests include the empirical analysis of the innovation impact of energy policy measures, the design and evaluation of energy efficiency policy and the analysis of policy mixes in energy- and climate policy. After studying Physics at the universities of Freiburg, Uppsala and Berlin, she obtained her PhD from the Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona. She further obtained a Master in environmental science from the University of Hagen. Before joining Fraunhofer ISI, she worked as a senior researcher at Freiburg University.
