2001-2005 studied Biotechnology and Genetics in the University of Tartu. Degree 2005 as Baccalaureus Scientiarum in Biotechnology. 2006-2007 European Studies on Science and Tech-nology (ESST) in the University of Maastricht, Master of Arts 2007. Researcher in University College London (2004) and CIRCLE Research Institute, Lund University (2007). 2006 Trainee-ship in European Commission, DG Research, Directorate for Biotechnologies, Agriculture and Food/Biotechnology Unit, Brussels. 2007-2008 composer of “Estonian National Biotechnology Strategy 2008 – 2013”, working for Estonian Biotechnology Association. 2009-2010 Traineeship in EuropaBio (The European Association for Bioindustry) on regulatory affairs. Employed since March 2010 as a researcher in the Competence Center Emerging Technologies in the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe.
