Studied political science, English literature and law at the University of Heidelberg and at the Institut d`Etudes Politiques Lille, France. Degree 2009 as Magister Artium; topic of the M. A. thesis: Public and Private Higher Education Expenditures in a Comparative Analysis of OECD Countries. Visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge.

Employed since March 2010 as a junior researcher in the Competence Center Emerging Technologies at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe.

Since April 2011 doctoral candidate at the Political Science Department of the University of Göttingen; PhD thesis deals with a comparative analysis of data protection authorities (DPAs). Dissertation will be supervised by Prof. Andreas Busch.

Visiting researcher at the University of Edinburgh (Prof. Charles Raab) in February 2012.
