Experience

Studied geography, majoring in economic geography at the University of Hanover (Universität Hannover). From 2003 to 2006 he was employed as a Research Associate at the Institute of Economic and Cultural Geography at the University of Hanover. In 2005 he was awarded his doctorate on the subject of university spin-off activities in China. In August 2006 he joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe as a researcher in the Competence Center Policy and Regions.
