The programme of the Robert-Bosch foundation aims at promoting excellent young scientists and strengthen the interdisciplinary research in the field of sustainability. Each year a five year grant with a funding reaching one million Euro is granted to one excellent and promising young researcher. The funded research projects shall provide solutions to current environmental problems and have a specific focus and practical relevance for emerging and developing countries. The evaluation of the programme has the objective to evaluate the relevance and the effectiveness of the programme.
